"...a series of understandings..." was commissioned by Prana Duo in 2008.
The text is adapted from an article printed in the Boston Globe on 12/8/2004, under the headline "Israel, Egypt negotiate pledge." The text, as it appears in adapted form in the music, is as follows:
1.) "I would... sketch the... horizons..." one... said.
2.) I would call it... not.... but that sketch... of anonymity.
3.) ...call... understanding.... into writing... an agreement... of the official... condition...
4.) I would... not... put... the political... on.
5.) "I would call it a series of understandings that have not been put into writing but that sketch the political horizons of an agreement," one of the officials said on condition of anonymity.
6.) I would... not... sketch... said... condition.
7.) "I would... sketch the... horizon..."
