Notes:
In early 2007, the Fifth Tier New Music Ensemble solicited short new compositions from former students of composer Lee Hyla to be performed as a parting gift for Lee on an all Hyla concert marking his departure from the Boston area.
"Lesson plan" is a brief, fond remembrance of composition lessons with Lee, circa 2000, with hints of Beethoven and other little surprises.
