"The Beck Journals Vol. 1" was written as part of an 2-week collaboration with singers and instrumentalists at the Tanglewood Music Center in June 2005, and is dedicated with great thanks to Steve Mackey and Lucy Shelton. Vol. 2 will be written in 2006 for the Firebird Ensemble, thanks to a grant from the St. Botolph Club Foundation.
